Looking for Pictures

Hello all.

I joined up here,a couple of days ago.

I was at the 435th OMS Enroute MX 1977 to 1981.I'm currently navigating and getting used to the web site and where and what everything is etc.

When I got to enroute.I'm not sure which flight I was in?.Maybe somebody remembers.A little later on I did go into Maintenance Control, and remained there until I left in 81,heading to the 2nd OMS Tanker Branch,at Barksdale AFB.

I'd like to find any pictures of me,that some of you all may have of me.There's probably some out there. It's just a matter of who has any pic's of me during my time period at Rhein Main AB.

THX

C-17 mistake at MacDill

Juat saw the C-17 mistaken landing at MacDill, great landing on a short runway..........wait a minute wasn't the airplane designed to do what it just accomplished?
I am originally from the Tampa area, and know where the little airfield is. I have forwarded this too everyone in my family for the laughs of the day.
I left Altus just before they installed all of the C-17's in mid-94. They are all still a sight to look at.
I am also planning on being there next year in San Antonio, since it is just down the street from Ft Worth.
Happy Trails everyone until then.

2013 Reunion - PROPOSAL

2013 Reunion - PROPOSAL

Enrouter Jim Christenson has suggested that for our 2013 Enroute Reunion, we do an Enroute Cruise.

In 2006, Carl Bodin suggested this, but not enough people were interested.

For folks not familiar with CRUISES, once you booked and arrive at your ship, for the most part, everything is included. You do have to pay for your alcholic drinks, but all meals are provided. If you decide to take an adventure off the ship at one of the islands, there are minor charges for those.

PLEASE let us know what you think.

Anyone remember the Ops building fire

My first week at Rhein Main AB I was walking across a field and stopped to watch the fire department practicing fighting fires on some old buildings that were scheduled to be torn down. I thing it was a Ops buildings, anyway the fire got out of hand that they had a huge fire and had to call for help from the Germans. I think it was the fire department from the Airport that came and helped them put it out. I think it was 1984.
