Tech SGT Donald Roger “Don” Patterson, USAF Retired, age 59 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, December 06, 2015. He was born December 04, 1956 in Fort Huachuca, Arizona to Connie Ray Patterson and the late Martha Jane Richardson Patterson. He was a 1975 Carrollton High School graduate and proudly served in the United States Air Force for 21 years retiring as Tech SGT. He was employed with Honda Lock where he worked as a material handler. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Wilson Emberzo Richardson. Survivors include his father, Connie Ray Patterson of Carrollton; daughter, Donica Patterson of the Philippines; sister, Janie Patterson of McDonough, GA; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis Ray and Judy Patterson and Duane Kelly and Tricia Patterson all of Carrollton; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at 3:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Mr. Dennis Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with full military honors and Min. Joel Eynon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 09, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
