      Cooper High School's Class Of 1993!

Dear Class of 1993 Member:

Our 20 Year Class Reunion is fast approaching and will be held the weekend of September 20th & 21st, 2013.  Please mark your calendars and start making plans to attend.  We’re working really hard to make this a fun and relaxing reunion and we’d like to see as many classmates as possible!

We are planning the weekend as a “keep it casual” event.  To kick it off on Friday, September 20th, we have arranged for a section marked off for those that want to get into the spirit at the homecoming pep rally at the old gymnasium. (exact time will be posted at a later date).

For Friday evening we have arranged for a section (details of which section at a later date) at Shotwell Stadium for the actual Homecoming game of Cooper High VS Lubbock Coronado.

While we’re still planning we’d like to know of any activities you would like us to try to arrange for Saturday Afternoon on September 21st.  Some ideas being tossed around are:  The Abilene Zoo, Flag Football for all that want to participate, Golf at the Abilene Country Club, Afternoon brown bag picnic at Nelson Park. We are trying to coordinate as much as possible for all to enjoy with fellow classmates and their families. We do understand that not all will be able to attend the evening event so optional ideas are always welcome.

As for the main event on Saturday evening, our 20 year Reunion will take place in the Ballroom at the Abilene Country Club. Cost for this event will be a flat rate at $65 per person. We will have a fabulous time mingling, reminiscing, getting reacquainted, with cocktails (cash bar), wonderful food and hors d'oeuvres with dancing to the sounds of Dj Spyda from Austin. We are asking all to come as if you were going out on the town. In other words, think cocktail hour. This is not a formal for we want everyone comfortable yet classy as our class has always been.

As your reunion committee, we are so excited to see you all this coming September. Please don't forget to become a member so you can continue to stay in touch with not only fellow classmates but to receive all details as we will keep you posted on all finalized plans.
