Helena Buabeng (Attabra-Gyan)

hi all,

Miss Adu is retiring soon and we in Ghana are planning to buy her a car. i dnt know how u guys are going to help but any ideas are welcome.

Its not just the 98 yr group its all old students and we pay to Nana Oye at Zenith bank. We will make the presentation when the money is enough to buy her a sleek "ride".

some of us won't be able to attend the reunion so i gues we will have ours here.

anyone know where Jemima Owusu is?

02/19/09 02:07 PM #30

Demi Letsa (Safo)

I am up for Miss Adu's gift idea. How do we coordinate stuff though? We have a Bank of America account for those of us here in the US.This is for our reunion, but we can also use it for Ewura Adu or anything else concerning our school. Please email me or Nana Efa or Amy Andoh for more information.

Can some of our sisters in the UK do something similar????

Helena,
I know we'll have some kind of fund raiser at the reunion here so I guess we'll divide the money and give some to the school and the rest will go towards Awura Adu's Ride. When were you guys thinking of getting her the ride?

We haven't heard any feedback from people. We are still looking for a hall that will host it for cheaper. If anybody knows anything or has any ideas please let us know soon. Thank you.

Ladies its quite sad we haven't gotten any feedback on the plans for our reunion. Are you still interested in having it? Is the amount being requested too much? Please lets hear from you otherwise we will have to drop the event for this year and maybe have it next year. By the way, Ewuradu's gift ............do you wanna contribute? if so how much will be doable/good for you? All these questions are just to get everyone's input , you know

Entering from Labone junction with osu children's home on your left, go past the Celsbridge junction, take the immediate left turn. That turns takes you past Hinlone Chinese restaurant. Go a little further you'll see Zen gardens on your right.

ALTERNATIVELY

From morning star school drive on the road that leads to former churchees. Continue on that road past a GT Bank till you get to the T-Junction where churchees was, take the right turn. Continue and you'll see Zen gardens on the left

ADDITIONALLY,
You can Google Zen Gardens and you will get there...
Thank you
