First of all I would like to say whats up Dougherty High Class of 1999. Dam its about to be 10 years, in I must say I really miss u all. Those of u who I really know and dont really know. We all are family.I know all of the activities for our class reunion have been planned. But if it is okay with our President and whoever else is over with getting this MAIN EVENT together, how about on Sunday after we leave church lets go in show our respect to tha late Mr. Marquis Shead n Ms. Shavonne Childs. In yes i spelled her name right according to my god mom. I think we should at least contact both families in RESPECT to let them know what WE want to do. Because I know WE all want to show them OUR LOVE to them!(BLOOD N VONE) Thanks in advance for this request. Antony Quantavius Douglas PS LOVE U ALL!!! A gift from us to our loveones a nice flower n stuffed animal.

Hello, Everyone! I am looking forward to seeing all of you. I hate that the reunion have to be in October though because it is so inconvient for alot of people and plus summer would just be so much better.Anyway,Tony that is a good idea to show respect to Shead and Von's family it really needs to be apart of the events.

The board will be meeting this week, and will look into adding your above-mentioned idea to the scheduled events (Antony). Thank you for the suggestion.

I am late in doing so, but I would like to personnally congratulate Michita Brown for being the first classmate to pay her dues in full on last week! I know that all are not able to do so, but to those that are, it would be appreciated if you would go ahead and do so. This will help us in securing the venues to make this a class reunion to remember.

Hey Everyone! Tony in reference to your idea we are on top of that. There will be actually some other special things that we will do for them some we will leave as a surprise...& others we will disclose at a later date, however thanks for your input. Maybe you can help with that planning committee. We would love for you to come on board with planning.

Normally, I check the website multiple times everyday, but I've been on the road working madd hours, so this is the first time I've been able to sit down and catch up on what's going on. I never do New Year's Resolutions, so my "Post President-Elect Obama" resolution is to only entertain positive energy on this public Message Forum. That being said I'll respond in general to a few posts.

I am supportive of doing anything to recognize any of our classmates that are no longer with us and paying respect to their families. Having lost family members and loved ones, I know first-hand how comforting it is for someone else to let you know that they empathize with your pain. The Board definitely has things planned as Telisha mentioned, but we welcome all suggestions and hands-on volunteers from the class to help in this regard and all other areas.

The planning of the reunion is still in full motion. Much has been done, but much still has to be done. Those who are actively involved and volunteering their help understand why a full year is needed to organize an event of this caliber. I'm sure the 15-year Class Reunion Board will have a much easier time when they have this responsibility.

I would like to say thanks to all the Board members for their hard work and to the committee members who have willingly given of themselves to help make this reunion happen. No one person can do it all, so it has been very helpful to have so many positive-minded and motivated people volunteering to do whatever we need done.

Some people are telling me that they do not receive the E-mail blasts that are sent out periodically. These E-mails contain informative messages and keep us all updated on what is happening. Please make sure that you check your bulk/spam/junk mailbox to ensure that you are receiveing class reunion E-mails.

I just wanted to let all of our classmates that work for Cooper know that our prayers go out to you and your families during this time of transition in your lives. I pray that as this door closes, another will be opened for you.

Hello everyone!!!! I want to thank everyone for being so supportive to me and my family during my time of loss(My Mother) Also, I want to let you all know that Aaron Edwards also known as Biscuit's mom just died this past wednesday. I had to force myself to attend his mother's service because i had just lost my mother, but i knew I had to support him just like he had done for me. It was very hard for the both of us and our son. Our baby is really broken up about this...He lost both of his grandmother's within the past month. Both of us and our families are going thru a tough time right now but i just keep praying and reminding myself that God don't make mistakes!!!! Again thank you all so much!!!

Fellow classmates,

I wanted to take a few minutes out of my busy schedule to say congratulations and job well done. It is great to see that The Class of 1999 Mighty Trojans are the ONLY class in the city of Albany, Georgia to proceed with the dreams we had 10 years ago.

To all of the classmates that have taken time to prepare this event....Great Job! It is not easy planning events and maintaining a job.

I will not be able to attend due to mandatory work on my job. However, I am sure that the events planned will be awesome and everyone will enjoy themselves. If any one is coming out to Vegas be sure to give me a phone call.

Also, please remember to look over the Alma Mater. LOL!!!

Yours Truly,

Derrick A. Pace

Derrick Bestcheerleader Pace you are forever hilarious! The Alma Mater isn't the same without Mr.Conyers singing it! LOL

As many know I will not be attending either. I am pissed about this and had my one's ready for Clint's strip tease:). My husband is going to be in the field from the 3rd to the 10th. SUCKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! And I WILL NOT drive 10 hours with these bastards arguing over who picked out the last movie or with my mini-me telling me "if you woulda just made a left we would have been there by now"! SO with that being said yall have fun, take plenty of pictures and let me know where to view them!

I love you guys dearly and I hope to see some of you all when we come home for Christmas! Have fun and stay outta jail!

Wow I was the last to post in 2009 and the first for 2013. Is she winning or what?

I would just like for everyone to stay prayed up and just enjoy life. It's too short for drama and hatred. Love one another and learn how to have fun without all the extra!

Miss you all dearly and whenever I return from Japan I look forward to seeing some of you all ??
