Interactive Calendar

Link to Our Own Class of 79 Interactive Calendar!

Feel free to use the interactive calendar to view shared events and participate in the scheduling of:

  • any FHHS Class of 1979 function
  • informal Federals gatherings
  • committee planning meetings
  • your kids' school sporting events/performances
  • any event you'd like to invite alumni to

Next Step: Add Yourself

By adding ourselves, we will be able to distinguish one person's edits and comments from those listed as "Guest". Simply follow the instructions below. Afterwards, you will receive an invitation email from Google to come back and create your personal login ID/Account.

For advanced users and those who already have a Google Account, just add yourself according to the instructions below, are you're good to go! 

To add yourself, first log in as "guest@fhhs79.com" following the instructions above, then:

  • go to My Calendars on the left side of the calendar and click on the down arrow [v] next to "Class of 79 Calendar"
  • then click on Calendar settings
  • Click on tab labeled Share this calendar
  • add your email address (the one you will use with your google account)
  • set the Permission Settings to "Make changes to events"
  • Click Add Person
  • click Save and return to the calendar view
  • now sign out in the upper right corner
  • log back in through your own google account (or wait for your email invitation, then log in).  You will see that "Class of 79 Calendar" is displayed in your My Calendars list

The really neat thing about Google Calendars is the ability to overlay others' calendars onto your own -- without giving away rights to edit your calendar!  Great for busy famlies and friends!  Also, you can set alarms/alerts according to your own preferences and even set your cell phone to notify you (read more on Google Calendars about synchronizing your calendar with your mobil products).
