"Our Friends Are A Very Important Part of Our Lives!

Treasure The Tears, Treasure The Laughter,

But Most Importantly, Treasure The Memories."

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address noreply@classcreator.net (that's a .net, not a .com).

What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address noreply@classcreator.net.
Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address noreply@classcreator.net when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting noreply@classcreator.net is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving emails from your fellow Classmates.
Stop and take a moment to whitelist noreply@classcreator.net right now, and ensure you stay connected!

PRIVACY NOTICE:  All contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address) entered into this website will be kept confidential.  It will not be shared or distributed.  Your contact information is private: your street address, e-mail address, and phone number cannot be seen by the classmates unless you grant permission on your Profile.  When someone clicks on your name, the only contact information they will see is your city and state and whatever information about yourself you choose to put on your Profile. Unless you explicitly grant your permission, your email address is not visible, although an email can be sent to you using the contact box at the bottom of your Profile page. Note, however, if you send a message to someone through their Profile page, the Classmate will see your email address so that they can respond.
MEMBERSHIP DISCLAIMERThis is a private site for Fort Hunt HS Graduates. 1980 Classmates that did not graduate with the class, or that graduated from other years will also be granted admission. Fort Hunt High Alumni from other graduating years may be admitted on a case by case basis. All membership, regardless of graduating year, will be granted or denied, at the discretion of the site administrator. All memberships may be revoked at the discretion of the site administrator. The privacy and security of all registered members will be considered a priority for the purpose of invitations, admittance, denials and revocations.

About this website

I chose classcreator.com to host this site.  Everything I have learned about Class Creator, our provider, indicates a genuine desire to provide classmates a way to reunite without having to put up with spam and advertisements.  Class Creator sells subscriptions for reunion websites like ours, but individual registration remains free to classmates.
If you would like to help defray the website cost, your single $5 donation is highly appreciated!

If you use a spam filter on your email, please read the following message I received from Class Creator:

"...the Class Creator system does not send spam mail of any kind to your Classmates. Thus you and your Classmates can "whitelist" postmaster@classcreator.net with confidence that spam email will never be sent from our address..."

Note, whitelist, sometimes referred to as a "Safe List" or an "Approved Senders" list, is the general term for allowing an email to come through from a specific email address every time.

I encourage you to research Class Creator and it's services further.  Please alert me should you ever discover any behavior that seems questionable to you.

Excerpts from Class Creator's Privacy Policy and FAQs:

"We will not use personal information that we collect online from you while you are using the Class Creator system, nor will we use any information provided by classmates, to mail or email promotional offers (AKA spam). Your personal information and the personal information entered by your classmates will never be shared with other companies or organizations electronically or otherwise — period."

Can people find my Classmates' Profile pages by searching Google or other major search engines?

Answer: It depends. Your Classmates' Profile pages are fully indexable by major search engines, but each individual Classmate has the ability to permit viewing of his or her Profile only to fellow registered Classmates. If Profile information has been restricted to only fellow Classmates, then search engines can not get into this information and index it, nor can any non registered Classmate get in. Please note that your Classmates' public profile is found in the search engines when no restrictions have been set by the Classmate him or herself. This is the same information that anybody can see simply by visiting your web site unless a Classmate has restricted Profile viewing to only fellow Classmates. Your Classmates' private information is not findable and will never be displayed even if their Profile is left open to the public. Specifically, your Classmates' email addresses, mailing addresses, and telephone numbers are completely protected and not visible to the public, and not findable/indexable by search engines no matter what. Please note that anyone can still send an email to your Classmates by filling out the contact form at the bottom of any Classmate Profile page. This allows open communication between Classmates and non Classmates alike, while protecting Classmates' personal information.
