Hey Classmates,
Rick Raunswinder here, regretfully my wife Barbara & I are not going to be able to attend the Class Reunion. We would however like to see any of you who are going to be in the Alexandria area for the reunion weekend. Please feel free to stop by our wine store: Au Domaine, European Wine Source, on Friday, July 30th & Saturday, July 31st for a free & informal wine tasting. The tasting on Friday, the 30th runs from 4:00 until 7:30PM and features a selection of tasty Italians. The tasting on Saturday, the 31st runs from 12:00 until 5:00PM & features Champagne & Sparkling wines including a number of selections imported by Peter Ungerleider's brother Jim. The address for the store is 802 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. (just a block south of the Crowne Plaza hotel where the reunion is being held) We hope that you can make it by! Best Regards, Rick & Barbara www.audomaine.com

It's hard to believe that we have been out of high school as long as we have. There have been many changes, experiences, heartaches and triumphs in our lives over the years. Let's face it, high school was a very strange time for us; hormones, self-discovery, uncertainty, friendships, cliques ... but that's in the past. We've grown, changed and endured.
"Our Friends Are A Very Important Part of Our Lives.Treasure The Tears, Treasure The Laughter,But Most Importantly, Treasure The Memories."

Now, check out this video below to bring back some high school memories. This video was'74-75, but not much changed since then when we attended Fort Hunt!
My guess is that few of us don't know this story so I wanted to share this with everyone. I hope you'll be amazed by this...it is from where we get our beloved school's name!
Thanks Davey Jones for finding this treasure!

Some classmates and FHHS groups are on Facebook including a group for The Class of 1980
We began building this website on June 7, 2009 and over 70% of our classmates have registered already.
That's 269 people! Wow!
Dozens of us now log into this site daily! With your help to keep spreading the word, we will continue to see newclassmates checking in everyday! Let's keep it rolling
And if you have any pictures of our time at Fort Hunt to share,
please contact me or upload them directly! Just ask me how!
On your profile page, please upload family photos and videos as well as a current picture of yourself. We hope you will really participate in this site and visit often. Thanks so much!
PICTURES!! Do you have a box of old Fort Hunt photos tucked away in your attic or basement? Pull them out and share them. A classmate once said to me, "What good are photos if you can't share them?" We need YOUR photos, updates, and memories to enhance this site and to make certain it represents ALL of the members from the FHHS class of '80. Even if you haven't attended a reunion, nor kept in touch at all since graduation, we ask that you please take the time to send us an update and maybe even a photo or two. We're certain your fellow classmates would love hearing from you! And, you may even reconnect with an old friend! Your submissions will make this site fun, interesting and complete. So, add your own personal touch and see what happens! You can send them to me and we'll create a slide show that will be featured at our Reunion on Saturday!
If you see anything that needs to be corrected or have a suggestion on how we can make this site even better, please let me know that too for the benefit of everyone!
