Following a battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer which went on for many months, Scott passed away on 17 May 2022. He was an accomplished racecar driver and construction worker and a devoted father and recent grandfather. Left behind to mourn his passing are his mother Bonnie; significant other Chantel; children Brooklyn, Mason, and Logan; and two-month-old granddaughter Lennon. His father (Rodney) preceded him in 2009.

Scott was kind and gracious to everyone he met and fought valiantly to make sure he was still here to meet his granddaughter before leaving this life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
