Cindy and her daughter, Tiffany, and her mother, Virginia, traveled to Wisconsin from Florida in July of 2007. Cindy and Tiffany stayed with us (Dave & Mary Sue Crandall) for a couple of weeks and Virginia stayed with Lanny and his wife, Diane, in Winona. This was at the time when they had a dedication to Belmont and Virginia Krause at Tri-Oval Speedway in Fountain City. As you know, Belmont and his construction crew built that racetrack in 1967. Cindy and I worked at the concession stand there a couple of summers.
In October of 2007, Cindy was found unconscious in her home by her husband and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, but never regained consciousness. There was a private funeral and her ashes were scattered in the ocean. Cindy's husband, Ron Alexander, died 6 months later.
Cindy's daughter, Tiffany Sparacino, and her husband and 2 daughters live in Florida. Cindy's mother, Virginia, also lives in Florida. Cindy's brother, Lanny Krause, and his wife, Diane, live in Winona, MN.
