Gregory Martin Mischley passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 03, 2022 in Rochester, Michigan.  He was born on May 07,1950 in Alpena, Michigan to Leo and June Mischley and graduated from Alpena High School with the Class of 1968, earning his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan in 1972. He then began his long professional experience in many roles at General Motors, retiring as a Global Program Manager in 2012.  

Greg's friends and family knew he had a passion for travel and adventure along with his wife, Kathy.  Their exciting experiences took them all over Europe, and all across America, as far north as Alaska, and including their most recent cruise down the Mississippi River. 

He loved the outdoors and volunteered his time on cleanup projects; his favorite being the Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River in the Dayton area.  Greg also enjoyed spending hours in his happy place---his hunting blind on his family's land north of Alpena in the cool November air during deer hunting season.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Daleski) Mischley, sons Chuck, Douglas and Sean, brother Stan Mischley and grandchildren Kennedy, Harper and Lennon.  Greg was preceded in dealth by his sisters, Linda Corbin and Barbara Anderson.
