David Le Souva, age 65, of Spruce, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, July 20, 2015, after a courageous fight with cancer. 

David was born on March 5, 1950, to the late Joseph & Helen Souva, in Alpena, MI.  On March 6, 1971, he married Linda Rasmussen at St. Catherine Catholic Church.  Dave was a Quarry Leader at Lafarge & he retired in 2011 after 37 yrs. of dedication. 

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 44 yrs. Linda, their 3 daughters, Chris (Johnny) Rowe of Hubbard Lake, Cindy (Justin) Smith of Spruce, and Cari Souva of Spruce, several grandchildren and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.  Dave is preceded in death by one brother, Terry Souva.

On Thursday, July 23 at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home,  family & friends can gather for visitation from 2 p.m.until 8 p.m., with the funeral on Friday, July 24,  beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Memorials may be made to Friends Together of Michigan or a charity of family's choice in Memory of David.
