Joseph Willaim DeCaire, 68, of Corunna, MI, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Joseph was born July,14, 1950 in Alpena, MI to Leonard and Florence (Kennedy) DeCaire.  He was a graduate of CCHS.  He married Barbara Baryo on Jan. 30, 1971 and relocated to the Corunna area to raise a family.  He worked for General Motors in Flint as a Skilled Tradesman for nearly 40 years but his passion was working as the Township Supervisor for Caledonia Charter Township for nearly 15 years. 

Surviving are his wife Barbara of 40 years, children; Stroh, Scot, Brien DeCaire and Amanda Root and several grandchildren and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.  He is pre-deceased by his parents and 6 brothers and 2 sisters and a son-in-law. 

The family is being served by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes in Corunna Chapel.
