Robert Michael Meyer of Laurel, MD died suddenly on Tues. April 4th, 2017 at Laurel Regional Hospital.  He was born on January 6th, 1950 in Alpena, MI to William and Virginia Meyer Sr.  Bob graduated from Alpena High School in 1968 and spent 2 yrs. at ACC before enlisting in the U.S. Army.  He retired as a Master Sergeant after serving his country for 20 yrs. 

Mr. Meyer is survived by his sons, Nicholas (Imelda) Meyer and Rodney (Kimberly) Meyer and several grandchildren.  He is also survived by 3 brothers and other family members.  Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife, JoAnn and brothers, William and Rick. 

Cremation was performed by Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Services of Glen Burnie, MD and a memorial service was held on April 15, 2017 at the home of Tracey Miller. 

Contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in memory of Robert Meyer.
