Richard Alan Price, 74, of Alpena, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2024, at home with his family by his side. 

Richard was born September 10, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harold and Lois (Haddix) Price and moved to Alpena in 1952.  He graduated from AHS in 1968 in Alpena, MI.  He worked at Alpena Aggregate for 43 years and also served in the U.S. Army for two years.  Richard was also on the Maple Ridge Fire Department as Fire Chief for many years.

He married the love of his life, Patricia Ferris, on August 21, 1971.

Richard is survived by his wife, children and several grandchildren, two sisters, and many other family members.

Visitation was at Bannan Funeral Home. Military honors were accorded him by the Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496.
