Daniel L. Wilson, 63, of Alpena, passed away at home on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014. 

Daniel was born in Alpena on Nov. 2, 1950 to the late Donald & Lois (Timmreck) Wilson.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, returning to Alpena where he has worked for Huron Distributors for the past 38 years.  He married his high school sweetheart, Linda Worm on Oct. 10, 1970.

Dan was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Third Degree Knights of Columbus, and past president of Ramblin' Rods Car Club.  He also enjoyed the outdoors along with hunting and fishing.  His true love was restoring classic cars for the past 20 years.   

Surviving are his wife, Linda; three sons; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers; one sister and several nieces, nephews and two canine companions.  He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law. 

He will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery.
