Debra A. Trude, 54, West Hanover Township, formerly of Altoona, tragically was taken from those who loved her Sunday in Wellsboro, Pa., the result of a motorcycle accident while on a fall foliage tour of northern Pennsylvania. This was one of the many things she enjoyed.

A resident of West Hanover Township since 1990, she was born in Altoona to John J. and Dolores J. Fresh. She was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School. Deb was employed at Milton Hershey Medical Center and previously worked at Altoona Hospital and Lancaster General Hospital.

Deb was the wife of George G. Trude, whom she married Feb. 28, 1973, in Winchester Va. She was the love of his life. A true and loyal friend, Deb always had time to listen to her friends who were in need of her sympathetic ear and will be missed immeasurably by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time at the shore as she loved the sun and the beach. Deb also was an avid book reader and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but nothing compared to spending time with her three grandchildren, whom she loved more than life itself.

Deb is survived by her husband: three children: sons, Michael P. and Shaun C., both of Harrisburg, and her daughter, Erica M. Zehring of Newport. She also is survived by her parents of Altoona; brothers: John J. of Westchester, Ralph S. of Altoona and William F. of Margate, N.J.; a sister, Denise M Miles of Altoona; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers: Michael P. and Timothy A.
