Still can't believe he is gone. Probably the person I was most looking forward to seeing again. A great friend who promised me the night before I left for college that he would be there when I needed him, and he was. Terribly missed.
Steve and I were baptized together as infants and remained friends over the years. He had a way of laughing life off but cared deeply about his friends and family. The reputation he developed in high school as someone who worked hard at not working followed him into adulthood. The last time I saw him, about 12-13 years ago, he mentioned how hard it had been for him to shake that reputation even when he had outgrown it. So, Steve, I'm telling your friends and classmates that you were a hard-working businessman and devoted single father of two daughters. Enjoy your well-deserved rest. I miss you.

We laughed through every lunch in highschool with 'Crabby' - he was such a nice guy. So sorry to hear he's gone.
