Janice Louise Rowley, 66, Altoona, died early Saturday morning at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Roy E. and Doris M. (Smith) Clabaugh.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly L. Rowley; a grandson, Alex; a brother, Gary Clabaugh, all of Altoona; and two nephews.

She was a 1971 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata.

Janice loved spending time with her grandson, Alex, and she also enjoyed sewing and reading.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions please be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
