Keith Campbell

Keith Wayne Campbell 64, of American Falls, passed away May 29, 2008 at Portneuf Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Keith was born Dec. 17, 1943 in Putnam County, WV, to Raymond Lawrence and Arta Muzzetta Wheeler Campbell.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He has lived in Colorado, Oregon, Washington and a few other places before returning home to American Falls to be with his family and friends.
He enjoyed playing darts on the American Falls Dart League, hunting, fishing and being with his family. He also loved to be with his fishing buddy, his great nephew Tristan, who spent a lot of time together fishing, talking and just enjoying each other’s company, making a special bond between them that will be forever cherished. Keith will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by three sisters and five brothers: Shirley Jones of Pocatello, Dianna (Dennis) Marvin and Eilene (Daniel) Long, both of American Falls, Karl Campbell, Larry (Linda) Campbell, Dennis (Dianna) Campbell, Jerry (Karen) Campbell, all of American Falls, and Eugene (Becky) Campbell of Pocatello. He also has 20 nieces and nephews and 30 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arta and Raymond Campbell; one sister, Cheryl; one brother, Dwight; a nephew, Michael Campbell; and a brother-in-law, Jack Jones.
A special thanks to his sister, Shirley, for all the care she has given him, staying with him night and day, caring for him and making sure all his needs were met and to all the family and friends that were there for him. We love you.
We also thank Portneuf Medical Center for the care in making his passing peaceful for him and the family and to the doctors and hospice for your loving care in his battle.
The graveside service and inurnment for Keith will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Falls View Cemetery, American Falls, with military honors provided by the American Legion Roland Evans Post #3. A dinner for family and friends will be at 235 Oregon Trail (Daniel and Eilene’s home) after the service
