Tim Madden - Class Of 1963

The following is from the July 22, 1998 Power County Press.

Tim Madden, formerly of American Falls, died June 18, 1998 at his home in Vancouver, Washington of acute leukemia.

Tim was born October 31, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gene and Florence Madden.  He moved with his family to American Falls in the fall of 1945.  He attended American Falls schools, graduating from American Falls High School in 1963.

He attended college at the University of Idaho where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, graduating in business.  He was a past Scoutmaster of Troop 340 in Vancouver and continued to be active in the troop.

He married Jane Holbrook 29 years ago and he had two sons, David S. and Patrick A. Madden.  At the time of his death he was controller for Auto Wheel Services, Inc. in Portland.

Tim is survived by his wife Jane of Vancouver; his sons David and Patrick both of Vancouver; his mother, Florence D. Madden of American Falls; and a brother, Mike F. (Kathy) Madden of Salt Lake City.

A memorial service was held June 23 in Vancouver.
