I have two cats......I never thought I would like cats....but a friend gave me her cat and when my dog died last year I got another cat...for my cat...I'm anxious to have a large dog again someday in my life!

Not yet but hopefully someday!

Update us on your life since graduation:

I moved back to Ames last July. I had been in Minnesota the last 23 years. I came back to Ames as my mother is still living here and there is no one left in my family to care for her or help her when she needs it. My father, brother, and sister have all passed away. It's weird being back but it's ok and I'm getting adjusted to it!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Um, just about anything! I like to keep busy. I like to go to new places and try new things. I like sports and comedy and theater and movies and eating out and walking around Ada Hayden. You know, the normal stuff.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

I see Cassie Anderson and Edith Hadwiger and Stephanie Lawlor and Jana Tschop. Face Book has been a great way to keep in contact with people.

Favorite high school memory:

High School and College were a blast for me! The best years of my life I tell my daughter. No one special memory, just lots of fun all around ;)

Share an interesting adventure, accomplishment or place you visited:

Well, let's see.....I've been to Mexico and traveled to most states. I've been on a cruise. I plan to go to Europe someday in the not too distant future. My accomplishment is that I made it thru college!!! I am a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Case Manager. I love working in the health care/medical field and have my whole career.

How often do you get back to Ames? Do you still have family there?

I moved back to Ames last July for my mother. My daughter is also attending ISU so I get to see her a bit and the benefit of in state tuition!

Future dreams or ambitions:

I liked living in the Minneapolis area. There is so much to do there and a lot of career opportunities. I had a good job there with Blue Cross. I miss it all some but also don't mind the quieter life back here in Iowa. Who knows what the future holds or where I may end up someday. I like to travel and will probably follow my daughter if she has kids so I can be an active grandma!
