Comments:

Some highlights have been past reunions, still like hanging out with everyone. Won a sales contest to the Datona 500. Not a big NASCAR fan, even though I was employed by Nextel, but the trip included lodging at the Disney World properties, access to any of their parks, spending money for the park and race. We also had a police escort into the race, nice to be in one - while still alive! Of course Joe's response was "first time I've ever gotten a police escort "in" anywhere - and yes it was while on the bus and loud enough for even a couple VP's to hear. That was a proud moment! Also won a trip to Cabo that same year. Along with getting to play some great courses there, they also reserved Sammy Hagar's bar Cabo Wabo and booked Journey to play exclusively for us. Work travel also allowed me to visit about 90% of the states. It was great for a while, but I'm very happy to now work from home.

School Story:

I was one of those strange people that really enjoyed going to school everyday, because there were so many fun things going on. A few things that still bring a smile are Dimeo's English class, where he broke every yard stick in the school, or if there were any left, the other teachers had them hid from him; all the sporting events, both the ones I participated in, as well as others I didn't; picnics with the dozen; trying to beat Sam to the parking spot at the south corner of the gym; sock hops and other dances. A few "less that stellar" memory was finishing out my Sr year with a broken leg. Unfortunately, this sort of memory has been a recurring one through the years.
