Saralee Rubin Peacock, 59, of Midlothian, Virgnia and formerly of Annapolis,  died of cancer February 27, 2011.

She was born and reared in Annapolis, and graduated from  Annapolis  High School in 1969 before graduating from Strayer Business  College in  1971. She worked for Geico and Digital Equipment Corporation  before becoming a homemaker to raise her children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Max E. Rubin.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Benjamin A. Peacock; daughter, Stephanie E. Garritson; son, Gregory J. Peacock;  grandson,  Ashton J. Garritson; mother, Adele Rubin of Annapolis; and  three  sisters, Barbara Schlossman of Annapolis, Eve Noon of  Princeton, N.J. and Madeleine Knoll of Crofton.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter  Day Saints, 4601 N. Bailey Bridge Road, Midlothian, Va. In lieu of  flowers,  memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
