Angela Jackson Brown

I live in Indianapolis, IN with my husband of seven years, Robert Brown; my son, Justin; and our furry family (Apache, Sheba and Maya). I teach college English at Ball State University in Muncie, IN and I am pursuing my love of writing. I have published poetry in several literary journals and I am working very hard to finish a book of poetry and a collection of linked short stories.

I received a BS in Business Administration from Troy University in 1992; a MA in English from Auburn University in 1996 and I will graduate with an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University this Fall 2009.

Some of my favorite AHS memories: Beta Club Convention, Yearbook staff (Yeah, Miss Jernigan), Football Games and Pep Rallies (winning the Spirit Stick), Prom '86 (Dancing to "Footloose") and of course, Graduation.
