Carrie Jo Druecker was born, May 1, 1970, in Manchester, Iowa, a daughter of, Gerald M. and Linda Lee (Haynes) Druecker. She graduated from Starmont High School, Arlington, Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Scott Andrew Weas on July 27, 1998, in Oelwein, Iowa. They had been blessed with over sixteen-years of marriage and two incredible children, whom she adored.
Carrie had been employed in the work force, but eventually found her true passion and calling, as a housewife, homemaker, mother, and in home day care provider. She felt truly blessed to be a mom and child care provider for moms that couldn’t be home with their children.

She was talented at cross stitch, and designed and made beautiful works of arts and gifts. She had a green thumb, and was always working in the garden or on the porch tending her colorful flower gardens. She also enjoyed going to concerts. The moments she cherished most were the times spent with her family, and her children. She was so proud of her son’s accomplishments in baseball, soccer, football or their day-to-day school activities.

Memorials can be made to the Benefit for the Weas Family, in care of Quad City Bank and Trust. The proceeds will be used for an educational fund for Carrie and Scott’s two sons, Jake and Luke.
