ACRHS 1987 Graduates:

Wow - what a wonderful weekend for our 25th reunion. It was a real pleasure to see one another and enjoy great fellowship, food, laughter, and memories. Thank you so much for your participation and investing your time and money to attend.

For those of you who couldn't attend, the reunion was a tremendous success. But, we missed you. Friday night was our homecoming game with the Rockets winning with a score of 35 and Enka 7. They made a announcement during the game that the class of 1987 was in there for our reunion. After the game we had the front porch reserved at Wild Wings Cafe with an attendance of 51 classmates not counting the signficant others.  We ended the night by outlasting  the 1992 reunion which was in the upper level room.

Saturday we meet at 11:00 at Carrier Park for the pic nic.  We had a relaxing fun time and Scott Capps brought a box full of photos we all picked through and so many stories were told some of which few of us ever knew.  Lots of laughs and plenty of photos were taken.

Saturday evening was the highlight of the weekend everyone started arriving at 6:30 at the Hilton Biltmore Park Asheville.  We had a entire room with dance floor reserved just for our class. The setup was enabled two full size screens that displayed our old school photos playing all through the night, memorabilia photos of those that we miss,  80's music, great food and atmosphere. But, the focal point of the evening was just being together and enjoying one another's company again. It was evident to our spouses how special and unique this class is. Beautiful people and wonderful memories. After an opportunity to visit, see things that made us smile - we had three beautiful ladies (Valerie Golden, Tracy Gosnell and Paula Yelton) step forward and shared their stories of how much they appreicated all the love and support from  their battle with cancer.  Tears and love over-flowed the room and it was such a awesome moment and such strong awesome ladies. We then had Jeff Hutson who was just hilarious take the microphone and have roll call so everyone came up to the stage one at a time  for a class photo. We danced until 11:00 and several went to the Hilton lounge and from there we had many of us walk across the street to the Hickory Tavern.  Everyone did not want the night to end!

I especially want say thanks to those that donated their time or money or both!  THANK YOU!
