45th Reunion Information
Classmates,
The reunion committee would like to announce the agenda for our 45th Class Reunion.
Friday, 10/11/24
Tomcat football pre-game gathering @ Karen and Brent’s house (water and snacks provided)
Tomcat Football game at Putnam Stadium against Boyd Co (we will have a reserved area, you’ll buy your ticket at the stadium)
After party @ the Delta Hotel (For those that want to keep visiting after the football game, we have reserved the Delta Hotel 10th floor Hospitality Suite including the balcony. (The hotel also has a lot of public gathering spaces and there is outside seating for smokers) We will have some limited snacks available in the Hospitality Suite along with water and pop, but please BYOB.
Saturday, 10/12/24
Meet and Mingle at the Elks Lodge. We will provide appetizers and there will be a cash bar. We considered finding a different venue this year but for 45 years our tradition has always been at the Elks (one year we went to the VFW instead) and it was more cost effective to have it there again.
General Information
The will be no fees for this reunion, all costs will be covered by the class funds raised at the 40th reunion. Each person will pay for their own football ticket, the class funds will pay for the Elks banquet room and appetizers. The class will also cover the Hospitality Suite. We will take donations at the events to replenish the class funds. We are also taking donations between now and the reunion to help fund sending flowers to classmate funerals.
We will share more information and details on all the events at a later date. We will create individual Facebook events so that we can get counts for attendance and we will keep adding details to Facebook and the reunion site as we get them.
A block of Delta Hotel rooms has been reserved for our class (Friday and Saturday). We have a special rate of $139 for a standard king or double queen, plus taxes and incidentals. We hope everyone can make the reunion this year, it’s hard to believe it has been 45 years!!!
