Comments:

I went into the grocery business with Brent Crawford for a while… Ok we were carry-outs at Gateway market in South Ashland. I attended ACC for one semester where I majored in ping-pong with Brent and Mike Duley and had a minor in bumper pool. I joined the Air force reserve for 6 years and got to see some of the world, France, Italy and Germany. When I came home from basic training I worked temporary for Ashland Oil and eventually got a full time job. I’ve been at the refinery since 1986 and like my job. But the best job I ever had was working at Breezeland the summer before my senior year, two bucks an hour but who cared. What carefree days those were. I’ve been married to Lori since 1982 and we have two children. I can’t believe they are 25 and 20. Austin is married to Sarabeth (who is awesome!) and works at the refinery also. Lauren is going to school in Cincinnati. It’s hard seeing them leave home but we are very close. In my spare time I take pictures at high school ball games and shoot some senior pics, families, etc. You can check out some of my pics at www.bluegrassboy.smugmug.com

Dad (my hero) and I hiking part of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia last year. He’s 72, carrying about 35 pounds; we did 15 up and down miles the last day. It was tough but he’s a former Marine.
