Thomas Dean Mansfield

1961-2024

The sun has set on an amazing life.

Thomas Dean Mansfield began his Heavenly journey home on February 19th, 2024.

Thomas was born in the summer of 1961, on July 22nd. He was the blessing of the late Lawrence and Lola Ann Riddle Mansfield. He attended school in South Point, OH until his family moved to Kentucky. Thomas graduated in 1979 from Paul Blazer High School and furthered his education at Ashland Community and Technical College. Thomas served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He took care of his community as a Phlebotomist at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Thomas loved sports, and enjoyed cheering on the KY Wildcats, enjoying a Reds Game, and watching his beloved Bengals play. When he wasn’t watching sports, you could often find him out on the golf course playing 18 holes. Even though Thomas had a love for sports and golf, it was his children and grandchildren that was his favorite past time. He loved being a father and papaw to his babies. Thomas had a caring soul and a loving heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the love he left behind and the fond stories of him that will be shared throughout the years.

Thomas leaves behind his two sons, TJ Mansfield and his wife Alexandra of Ashland, KY, and Steven and Alexis Mansfield also of Ashland, KY, Two beloved grandchildren Roman and Theodore Mansfield, one brother David Mansfield of Ashland, KY, and one sister Roberta Parker and her husband John of Ashland, KY. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends.
