Since high school I attended EKU where I got my BBA. Returned to EKU a few years later and completed my MBA. My first job was at National Mines, in Greenup, Ky as a computer programmer. Later moved to Lexington, Ky where I worked for Kuhlman Electric and Island Creek Coal in their Information Technology (IT) departments as a business analyst and project manager. Moved to the Northern KY area in 92 where I got into IT consulting and by 94 was an independent consultant working for myself. I incorporated my business in 1996 and have been doing IT consulting ever since. I love my job!! I have traveled a lot with work, Chicago, Minneapolis, Orlando, Atlanta and four years in New York City where my corporate apartment was on 34th and Broadway across for the famous Macy’s.

I married and divorced another PBHS Graduate from the class of 1976, Raymond Hicks. In 96, we built a house in Hebron, KY (about 10 minutes from the Cincinnati/KY airport) and I mean we physically built it ourselves, a project I would not recommend to anyone. But I live there now and love it.

Really looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.

2014 Question - Anything exciting happen to you in the last 5 years (since our last reunion)?

I moved back to Ashland (Not sure that qualifies as exciting). I went to Italy (Florence and Rome). My niece was working in Florence so I got to visit it as more of a resident than a tourist, which was very interesting. Continued going to Cozumel every year scuba diving with some of our classmates. I had just gone for the first time a few months before our last reunion.

2014 Question - How did you celebrate turning 50 and what surprises you most about being in your 50's?

Some friends attempted to have a surprise birthday dinner for me but I busted them before we got there. They did the whole walking cane and "Your over the hill" stuff which since my birthday is in Feb, turned out to be not such a smart move for them. I reused it for each of their 50th birthdays and made sure they were all in public with it. LOL

2014 Question - When do you plan to retire and what are your plans after you retire?

No end in sight at this point. :-(

2014 Question - Where and when was the last time you saw a PBHS teacher in person and who was it?

I saw Coach Linda Myers about a year ago. She still looks the same. She was my basketball coach for two years.

2014 Question - What class helped you the most in your adult life and why?

I had one semester of college prep typing in building 6. Seems unnecessary now since we are all so good at keyboarding on a computer but back then we used the typewriter. I still had to do my first resumes on an "old school" typewriter. I think if I hadn't of had that class, I would not have learned proper keyboarding and would have really struggled to get some college homework and those first resumes done.

2014 Question - What high school trend do you miss the most?

The music!!!

2009 Question - What clubs were you in during high school?

Basketball (Kittens), Powderpuff Football & Girl's Chorus

2009 Question - Who was your favorite teacher?

Mr. Rigsby

2009 Question - What was your first car?

1978 Blue Firebird Formula

2009 Question - What did you think you would be doing after high school?

Always thought I would live and work in Ashland.

2009 Question - How often do you get back to Ashland?

About once a month, Parents still there and 3 of my lifelong best friends Sherry Neeley McDavid, Jennett Foster and Melanie Lucas Davis

2009 Question - What is the farthest place you've traveled?

I have been to almost every state in the continental US, but never have left the country.

2009 Question - What is the best concert you've ever seen?

I was lucky enough to get to see Elvis.

Running a close second are Elton John, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Boston, Journey, Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, Eagles, KISS, Heart, ZZ Top and the Rolling Stones.

Yes I have just about seen them all.

2009 Question - What is the most unique place you have lived?

Covington KY where I lived in a corp apartment that was down by the riverfront and it was an old Civil War hospital that had been converted to Condos.

2009 Question - What would we be surprised to know about you?

That I finally gave up sports cars (my last was a 1994 Corvette) and now drive a Ford Explorer.
