Dan Andrew Stafford

1961 – 2010

SALT LICK – Dan Andrew Stafford, age 48, of Salt Lick, Kentucky, journeyed from this world to the next on Monday, August 9, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born August 11, 1961, in Ashland, Kentucky, and is the son of Amy McIntire Stafford of Frenchburg, Kentucky, and the late Morris Stafford.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Susan Borstner Stafford; one daughter, Megan Ison and husband Jerry of Morehead, Kentucky; and two grandsons, Trenton Powers and Andrew Ison. Other survivors include one brother and his wife, Jon and Penny Stafford of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters and their husbands, Sherry and Bern Loibl of Newfoundland, New Jersey, Melody and Ty Martin of Nyssa, Oregon , and Valerie and Herb Rice of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other family members; in-laws and numerous friends.

Dan was the warehouse manager at CKI in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Although his body has passed from this world, his spirit will remain through his generosity and acts of kindness that touched so many. Dan was greatly loved and will always be remembered.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Sean P. Reilley, Ph.D., officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
