Tammy Hartman (Slone)

Tammy Cheri Hartman Slone, 58, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Community Hospice, while surrounded by her family.

She was born September 28, 1962, in Milton, West Virginia, a daughter of Donnie Jim Hartman and Phyllis Sue Steele Hartman of Ashland.

Tammy was a very involved member of Wildwood Church of God. She was a 1980 Graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and graduated from Ashland Community College. Tammy was a dedicated Office Manager at Bill Cole Automall. She was happiest in church and spending time with her daughter and family.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Heather Slone (Drew) of Catlettsburg; brother, Donnie Hartman, Jr. of Ashland; sisters, Carolyn Sharp (Ernie) of Ashland, and Lisa Wilson (Adam) of Westwood; special niece, Jennifer Hartman; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Tammy's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at STEEN FUNERAL HOME 13TH STREET CHAPEL with words of comfort provided by Pastor Steve Harris. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
