Jeffrey D. Lewis, 60, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Community Hospice Care Center. Jeff was born July 20, 1962 in Ashland to the late Michael and Barbara Lewis. Jeff was a member of Life Song Church in Russell and retired as a store manager from Speedway. Jeff was a professional musician and could play multiple instruments. He began his music career at the age of 15 and played in many bands. He played in the band CHASE for many years and most recently Party Bus. Jeff enjoyed fishing and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Jeff is survived by his wife Katy Johnson Lewis of Ashland, one son, Aaron Lewis and his fiancé Julia Martin of Cincinnati, Oh., one daughter, Alex Stapleton and her husband David of Lexington, Ky., two brothers, Michael Lewis and his wife Kathi of Shawnee, Kansas, Chris Lewis and his wife Sherry of Ashland, one grandson on the way Orion Carter Stapleton, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, September 3rd at the Life Song Church in Russell.
