James Allen Giubbini was born October 12, 1944 in San Francisco, CA and died October 26, 1976 in San Luis Obispo, CA at age 32. Jim was outstanding in wrestling and football at M-A. A large headline over a 1961 sports article in the Redwood City Tribune about M-A's football win over Palo Alto High proclaimed, "Giubbini's Romps Pace M-A Victory"! His older brother Bob, said that Jim had a passion for farming and a large home farm of which he was very proud. Jim died as the result of a tractor accident while cultivating his home farm.
