Larry Patterson Gough was born March 7 1944 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. He was married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on January 2, 1970. Larry died June 6 1970 in St. Charles, Missouri from complications of an automobile accident; he was 26 years of age.

Larry was buried in Parker Memorial Park in Parker, Fremont County, Idaho by his parents. His father is Harry Patterson Gough 1909-1991 and his mother is Janice Earl Gough 1917-1972. There is a memorial site in honor of Larry and his parents in Findagrave.com.

From the 1992 M-A 30-year reunion profiles, Mike Nichols wrote, “I wish my good friend Larry Gough were still alive to share our successes and failures. I miss his courage. Please remember him in Bear Tracks.”
