Aubrey is survived by his three children; brother, Michael Lessard; and longtime companion, Becky Heflin. He was a member of the Highway 50 Association and was one of the Mountain Men in the 1980s. He was also a member of the Placerville Moose Lodge and a Legion of the Moose.

There will be a celebration of life on Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Placerville Moose Lodge in Camino, Calif., with a potluck to follow. Send donations to the Highway 50 Association, Placerville Moose Lodge or Snowline Hospice.
