JOHN ROTHSCHILD John Garrett Rothschild, 58, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007. He was born Feb. 18, 1949, in Seattle, and had been a resident of Las Vegas for six years. John grew up in the Menlo Park/Atherton, Calif., area and then moved to Redwood City. There he worked for 19 years at National Semi-Conductor as an electronics customer service representative. He moved to Las Vegas in 2001 and passed away there Aug. 8, 2007, from complications of diabetes. John loved motorcycles, his gun collection, family, and his close, dear friends. He had a good heart, would selectively give the shirt off his back, and was a very cooperative individual. We will miss John's soft, gentle voice, his wonderful phone conversations, his loving encouragement to family and friends, and his big, Teddy-Bear presence. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Jr. and Geraldine Rothschild; and two sisters, Urilyus Marvene Talley and Valeria Jean Roberts. John is survived by his sisters, Jan Rothschild Beltran of Nampa, Idaho, Therese Mary Burke-Hale of Tacoma, Wash., and Dorothy Lee George of Kettle Falls, Wash.; and his dear friends, and several nieces and nephews.
