Dear Mare.. This news makes me so sad.  We certainly had some adventures together.  I do remember visiting her when she was caning chairs.  Such a treat to watch her work and enjoy her thoughts. Of course she was a teacher... I knew after watching her I always wanted to cane chairs.  Nancy was a very special lady.  I'm so happy I knew her.
