Tommy Simpson

I Went to Faulkner State for two years and then Auburn for two more to get my degree. At the same time our family business closed. In the 80’s it was nearly impossible to find a job in Agriculture. I was lucky enough to find a job working at Samco Inc. for three years in Atmore. Then, worked for the State of Alabama in the Mobile/Baldwin/Escambia county ABC stores for seven years and at the same time went to school to get my instrumentation degree. During my time with the ABC stores I learned how to dance down in Pensacola. That is how I met my 1st ex-wife and present wife.
In 1996 I found my first job in instrumentation up in eastern Tennessee, and a year later in Chattanooga until 2004. Since then I have been with Florida Power & Light down here in Homestead.

Stan Spears and I gave a bottle of bourbon to Mr. Byrd to ensure a B in history.
David Crane and I played chess during classes.
Rolling Bay Minette high school our senior year.
I always enjoyed band and performing during the football games.
Spent a lot of time at the Ponderosa and Kmart parking lots.
