He was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Class of 1977, which was the last class to hold commencement exercises at Carnegie Hall. He was the lead singer for the band Sacred Addiction, which played throughout the New York City area, with several appearances at the famous CBGB's and Limelight clubs. In addition to his musical career, Mark was also an actor. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Mark had roles in commercials, multiple roles in independent films and television series, the most recent role being in FX's 'Louie' in 2011. Although Mark lived in the Village, he loved his home in Auburn. Despite his travels he looked forward to spending time at home in Auburn with his family and friends.
