AUBURN | Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Vogel, 54, of 16 N. Fulton St, Auburn, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Cortland Community Hospital. A life resident of Auburn, Cindy loved her family and  enjoyed spending time with friends Jerry and Amy. She was a passionate animal lover, especially her kitties Ivan, Colby, Ranger and Panda. Cindy loved feeding the birds, and her collectibles were just a few of the simple pleasures she enjoyed. Surviving are her mother, Mary Vogel, of Auburn; brother, Bob and his wife, Chris Wiggins Vogel, of Cato; niece and nephew, Chelsey Vogel and fiance, Vince, of Albany, Adam Vogel, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; uncles and aunts, Don A Callanan and Vi, of Auburn, June Moore & Bob, of Auburn, Judy Vogel, of Horseheads. She was predeceased by her father Robert Vogel; a sister Cheryl and her husband Dan Orr; and two uncles, Tom and Richard Vogel.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5 p.m., on Tuesday June 12, 2012 in Sacred Heart Church, Auburn, with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in Sacred Heart Church, prior to the funeral mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 41 York St., Auburn N.Y., 13021. The family extends a special thank you to her compassionate and dedicated care givers at Auburn Community Hospital, North Brook Heights, SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Crown Center Cortland and Cortland Community Hospital, Cayuga County Long term Care and Lifetime Care.
