Craig Lawton - AUBURN < Craig Lawton of Washington Street, Auburn, died of injuries in an ATV accident May 31, 2009. Craig was born May 22, 1961, the son of the late Charles and Lena Lawton. He is survived by his loving children: son, Christopher, and daughter, Carrie, of Auburn. Craig was predeceased by his devoted wife, Carolynn Jakaub Lawton (daughter of Barbara, of Cayuga, and the late Stanley Jakaub), on Sept. 17, 2008. Craig is also survived by his siblings: Nancy (Matt) Panarisi, Camillus; Chuck (Donna) Lawton, Auburn; Pat (Charlie) Fuller, Westvale; Sharon (Charles) Killiam, Auburn; Karen (Jim) Quinn, Auburn; Bill (Sue), Auburn; Charlene Camblin, Fairport; Betty (Jim) Streeter, Weedsport; Terry (Lynnette) Lawton, Bethel, Pa.; Laura (Hank) Arms, Geneva; and Debbie (Al) Pelc, Auburn. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins survive Craig as well. He was predeceased by his brother, Jeff Lawton (2001). Craig was employed with Gypsum Express of Baldwinsville, and was a member of Falcon Sportsmen"s Club. He loved spending time with his family and helping his neighbors with outdoor projects. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR and enjoyed cooking, hunting, and the outdoors. Funeral services for Craig will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday June 5, at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home. Craig will be laid to rest in the family plot in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga. Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at the funeral home, 42 E. Genesee St. Auburn. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Falcon Sportsmen"s Club. P.O.
