Melanie Fritz--AUBURN < Melanie A. Fritz Bielowicz, 46, wife of John Bielowicz, of 41 Grant St., Auburn, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family. A life resident of Auburn, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Alice M. Payne Fritz. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church and had volunteered her time at SS Peter and Paul School with various organizations. Melanie was a former employee of Chappell"s and Bon Ton department stores and was a homemaker and self-employed day care provider. She was an avid baker who enjoyed baking for her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, John; daughters, Nicole and Josephine; son, Brett; Maggie, the family dog; her brother John (Diane) Fritz, of Liverpool; three sisters, Shirley (Ross) Lant, of Horseheads, Jeanette Moran. of Port Byron and Lorraine (Frank) Lumb, of Auburn; her very best friend, Sharon Campanelli, of Auburn; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Melanie was a loving mother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. At Melanie"s request there will be no calling hours. A celebration of Melanie"s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at St. Hyacinth"s Church, 61 Pulaski St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes; St. Hyacinth Church; or SS. Peter and Paul School, Auburn. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Nicpon Funeral Home.
