Riley Milton - 03/07/61  - 04/19/06 AUBURN < Riley F. "Sonny" Milton Sr., of Washington Street, Auburn, died Thursday, April 19, 2006, in Auburn Memorial Hospital, following an illness of several months. Mr. Milton was born in Savannah, Ga., the son of the late Charles and Mittie Manuel Milton, and resided in Auburn for most of his life. He was employed by the Auburn Steel Co. for several years. Surviving are three sons, Daryl A. Green of Elmira, Riley F. Milton Jr. of Auburn, and Riley F. Milton III of Auburn; two daughters, Lawanda A. Watts of Auburn, and Clarissa M. Bailey and her husband, Kerri, of Auburn; and their mother, Sharon A. Simmons of Auburn; one aunt, Ada Manuel of Leesburg, Va.; one "sister," Angie Copes of Auburn; three grandchildren, Janessa E. Brandstetter of Auburn, Shalice A. Larbee of Auburn, and Trynazia L. Williams of Auburn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, in the Auburn Alliance Church, 630 N. Seward Ave., Auburn, with the Rev. David L. Richter, officiating. Interment will be in Throopsville Rural Cemetery.
