In Memory Of

Nicholas Milillo - Class Of 1979

Nicholas “Nico” F. Milillo, 57, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Nico retired from New Process Gear where he worked as an electrician. After his retirement, he started his own business known as “Nicks Guns” where he liked to “keep it personal.” He not only had a large customer base, but made lifelong friends. He also served as a Coroner Investigator in Cayuga County Coroner’s office.

Nico enjoyed spending time at the hunting camp, “The Dirty Shame,” with his lifelong friends Ricky and Mark, and numerous others. He also loved to snowmobile up north with his “partner in crime” Andy. He spent endless hours at his daughter’s home where he enjoyed sitting out by the pond that he designed just for her. Anybody who knows Nico, knows that he would go above and beyond to help anybody in need whether he knew you or not. He was a jack of all trades and could find a way to “fix it” even if it wasn’t broken.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Nicole; his furry companions, Cooper, Blizzard and Louise; stepdaughter, Michele (Eric) Andreassen, and their children, Evan, Emma, and Grace; stepson, Robert “B.J.” Hulik (Ashley Gleason), and their children, Hallie and Blake; his parents, Nick and Theresa Milillo, whom he loved dearly; two brothers, Steven (Roberta) and Michael; two sisters, Cindy (John) Crook and Pam (Tom) Driscoll; and several nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles and cousins.
