"THOMPSON, Rodney Earl. On the 20th November 2016, peacefully at North Shore Hospital with family at his side, aged 67 years. Best friend and partner of Fae; much loved father of Lisa, Carl, Vicki, Catrina, Terresa, and their partners Craig, Jason, and Jeff. Proud Granddad of Charlotte, Jakob, Stacie, Cody, Holly, Jesse, and Amber. Beloved brother of Greg, and Darryl."
Rodney Thompson and I worked together in the Laboratory at Reckitt & Colmans in Rosebank Road in Avondale, Auckland. We both went to ATI to study. He studied Microbiology and I did Chemistry. This was in 1967 -1969. Always enjoyed his company and I still remember his laugh and his long hair. blessings to the family from Graham Ure in Waipu.
I don't remember meeting him at MAGS and seeing these names and the photo....I have just realised this connection.
