Well I do not have much of a school story. Probably because I was never one of the "in crowd" people. The only story I can remember and its still kinda sad, was when I was a senior I believe, and I asked a girl to the senior prom that I had a history class with. Well she told me, "no" because her mom probably wouldn't let her. Well as it be known a video comes out for the senior class and who comes out of the limo.....THE GIRL I ASKED TO PROM, WITHOUT A DATE!!!!!! I was really glad to be done with school at that point in time.
I decided to enlist in the U.S. Air Force in Aug 2000 and it was kind of ironic because I had told Chris Winchell at our senior luncheon that I will never ever join the Military. I think that was mostly because I would make fun of there marching while I was at my Automotive class at Aurora Central. Low and behold I enlist and spend 4 years in and 2 of those are in England with my last 1 1/2 in Grand Forks ND. Also kinda ironic, England is where I had found Chris Winchell to be stationed also. I had fun in the military and really enjoyed that marching part...even though I made fun of it. When you are doing that, it brings out the history of the military and it was honorable to do it.
As mentioned before I spent 4 years in the Air Force following in my Great Uncle's footsteps. Once I was discharged in 2004, I worked for about a year before going back to school to obtain my state certification to become a Police Officer. I was hired by Adams County in April 2006 and have been there since. I currently work in the Adams County Courthouse as an assigned Deputy to the Court Security Unit. So if you are ever around please don't hesitate to say Hi, but if I look confused please let me know who you are!!
I'm not sure if this is a surprise, maybe to the girls I tried to talk to and date but didn't receive the time of day from them. I recently got married in Las Vegas in March 2009, and my wife is going to school to become a state interpreter for the deaf.
