Always smiling, always joking never took herself too seriously. Sister Caro was a real joy to be around. She was one of those bigs who would pretend to be tough but you knew deep down she was honey. Popular with her peers and very much liked by those below her. She had a clarity of thought and saw things just as they were. She was one of the girls I looked up to, not only because she was my cousin but because I admired the way she went about her business. She kept it fresh, she kept things simple and she let bygones be bygones and she could tell a mean joke, most of all she was very kind big. She shared her funkies with us and we always knew she will save some goodies for us on cookery practical day. Even when we met in Yaounde, she still treated us like she had in Lourdes, the smiles were still there, the little chats, the encouraging pet talks. We met up in England and were good chums. You were working hard for yourself and the kids. Always worrying about your babies in Cameroon. The last time I heard your voice , we were bogieing at a party, doing all kinds of olaloco moves and just being plain silly, then the following saturday the call came!! Sister Caro you are missed by a legion of girls you embraced as your sisters and the rest of your family whose life you touched. We talk about you all the time. I hope you are in heaven.

Rest in peace.

Vivian awung Folefac.
