Greg was my first "best" friend...starting way back in elementary school when his mom and my mom were teaching together at Barnesville Elementary. Saw a pic of his son Toby recently and he looks JUST like Greg. Brought back good memories of riding around in the "Funny Bunny" with Quiet Riot or Def Leppard blaring way too loudly.

Good times. Miss ya Greg.

Greg was always upbeat and had a ready smile. He used to try to copy my homework , although I do not know why, as he was way smarter than I. I am glad I knew him.

I loved Greg like a brother and remember so many good times together listening to Def Leppard and study group at his house with the "Q" Crew. I was pregnant with my son Richard when he was tragically taken from us. I will never forget his sense of humor or his smiling face. I will always carry him in my heart along with those that are still amongst us.

Greg was my best friend in high school. We had so much fun together. It seems whenever we got in trouble, it was always together, like the time Mrs. Kersey gave our class strict orders not to "donate blood" during a blood drive during her class time. Well, me and Greg naturally took that as a dare. Yep, we got busted. She was PO'd to say the least. It think we got a week or two of detention for that one, ha ha! Greg introduced me to my favorite band (still to this day), Pink Floyd. We used to cut up the town in that little VW GTi Rabbit of his and my old 75 Dodge Dart. Like several others have said, he always wore a smile and had a joke at the ready! We were very close. We shared a LOT of good times together and helped each other work through some rough ones as well. He was the brother I never had growing up. We stayed in touch after I went to Atlanta for college. When I heard of his accident, I cried my eyes out for the loss of my brother. I still tear up when I think of him (like now). I still can't listen to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" without getting teary eyed. A piece of my heart lies in that grave with him. I miss you sorely, Greg.
